The Maldives Islands are synonymous with diving. His whimsical geography consists of over 1,200 small coral islands; not all are surveyed and some emerge or disappear with seismic movements of the sea. The Maldives offer professional diver and tourist who dives for the first time a changing paradise. Coexistence between the Indian and Maldives is so close, that it is easy to forget where the sea ends and the coast begins. Grouped into 25 atolls, only 200 islands are inhabited of which 65 are exclusively devoted to tourism.
